Driver Killed in Car Accident on Highway 99 near Golf Road in Turlock
Turlock, California (November 11, 2020) – A 25-year-old man was killed in a traffic collision that happened in Turlock on Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 1 a.m. November 8, on Highway 99 near Golf Road.
The man was driving a Toyota Corolla southbound on Highway 99 when he slammed into the back of a 2019 Freightliner for unknown reasons.
The impact of the collision caused major damage to the Corolla.
The driver, identified only as an Atwater man, was killed in the accident.
The truck driver, 23-year-old Brian N. Marie Moil of Lemoore, was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
