Fatal Salinas Saturday Morning Car Accident on Highway 101 near Esperanza Road
Salinas, California (November 9, 2020) – One person died following a two-vehicle collision that happened Saturday morning in Salinas, a local news source reported.
On November 7, in the morning hours, officials received a call of a fatal crash involving two vehicles on U.S. Route 101 near Esperanza Road.
The accident involved a Mitsubishi Montero and a Ford Explorer that crashed on the northbound side of the highway for unknown reasons.
Due to the impact, the Ford operator, a 59-year-old Greenfield man, was ejected from the car.
Salinas Car Crash on Highway 101 Kills 1 Victim
Despite life-saving measures, the unidentified male driver died in the accident.
There were no other victims injured, including the Mitsubishi motorist and a passenger riding in the Ford.
