Daniel Miramontes Killed in Car Accident on 10 Freeway near Via Verde in San Dimas
San Dimas, California (November 8, 2020) – Two people were killed in a car crash that left two other people injured in San Dimas on Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened on the eastbound 10 Freeway near Via Verde at about 2:08 a.m.
A vehicle was traveling on the roadway at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended a 2018 Nissan.
A 30-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man who were inside the Nissan were transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center where they died while undergoing treatment.
The male was later identified as Daniel Miramontes of Rialto.
A 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man who were inside the other car suffered major injuries and were transported to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
