Loomis, California (November 4, 2020) – Dylan Rowsey has been identified as the man who was killed in an alleged DUI accident on Friday night in Loomis, authorities said.

The deadly two-vehicle accident transpired at about 11:30 p.m., on October 30, on Auburn Folsom Road, just north of King Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a red Subaru hatchback collided with a red Buick sedan on the roadway.

Rowsey was driving home from work when a suspected DUI driver struck his car, the officials said.

First responders arrived at the scene and extricated Rowsey, who was trapped in the wreckage.

Rowsey was transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

The other driver sustained major injuries in the accident.

Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the mishap.

The crash remains under investigation.
