Coarsegold, CA: Pedestrian Hit, Seriously Injured by Vehicle on State Route 41
Person Suffers Major Injuries in Coarsegold Pedestrian Accident on State Route 41 and State Route 49
Coarsegold, California (October 30, 2020) – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle Thursday evening at an intersection in Coarsegold, according to a local news source.
The major-injury pedestrian accident happened a little after 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 29, at the intersection of State Route 41 and State Route 49. State Route 49 is also known as Golden Chain Highway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was struck by a Toyota RAV4 at the Coarsegold intersection for unknown reasons.
First responders arrived at the scene and found a male victim suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash. His name and current condition were not disclosed.
The accident remains under investigation.
