1 Injured in Rio Oso Car Crash on Highway 70 near Berry Road
Rio Oso, California (October 27, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fiery two-vehicle collision that happened in Rio Oso, Sutter County, on Monday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 10:25 p.m. October 26, on Highway 70 near Berry Road.
Two vehicles reportedly collided in the area for unknown reasons.
The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to drift off the roadway where it struck a traffic sign.
One of the involved vehicles caught fire after the collision.
A female occupant of one of the vehicles was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
