At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Sonora Car Crash at Phoenix Lake Road and Bear Cub Drive
Sonora, California (October 27, 2020) – At least one person was seriously injured in a head-on collision that happened Monday evening at an intersection in Sonora, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash involved a green Jeep and a tan Dodge pickup truck and occurred at about 6:17 p.m. at Phoenix Lake Road and Bear Cub Drive.
The manner and cause of the collision were not mentioned in the report.

A party reporting the accident told authorities that one of the vehicles was smoking.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to help at least one person who suffered major injuries.
Both cars were towed away from the collision scene.
