Gilroy Man Killed in Truck Accident on Highway 152 in Santa Clara County
25-Year-Old Gilroy Man Killed in Santa Clara County Crash on Highway 152 near Bloomfield Avenue
Santa Clara County, California (October 26, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday morning track accident that killed a 25-year-old Gilroy man in Santa Clara County.
The deadly accident happened at about 12:40 a.m., on October 24, on Highway 152, west of Bloomfield Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500, driven by the Gilroy man, veered to the right and off the south edge of Highway 152, crashing into a utility pole and two trees along the side of the highway.
Following the collision, the driver was ejected onto the roadway while the truck spun in a clockwise direction.

Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
