4 Persons Hospitalized after Garden Grove Collision at Chapman Avenue and Haster Street
Garden Grove, California (October 26, 2020) – Fort people, including a police officer, were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon in Garden Grove, authorities said.
The three-vehicle accident transpired at about 3:00 p.m., at the intersection of Chapman Avenue and Haster Street.
According to the police, a police cruiser was traveling eastbound on Chapman Avenue through a green light when it was struck by a vehicle that went through a red light at the intersection.
As a result of the collision, the police cruiser spun out of control and crashed into another vehicle with three occupants, officials said.
4 Injured in Multi-Car Crash at Chapman Avenue and Haster Street
Four people were injured in the accident. The police officer in the cruiser, the car driver, struck by the police cruiser, its 16-year-old passenger, and a toddler passenger were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The other driver was not injured in the accident.
