Bruce Cross Killed, Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Kern Canyon Road
Bakersfield, California (October 22, 2020) – The Kern County Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identity of a 12-year-old boy who was killed in a motorcycle accident in Bakersfield on Wednesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Kern Canyon Road at about 6:45 p.m. October 21.
A 51-year-old man was riding a motorcycle with 12-year-old Bruce Leon Cross as his passenger when they crashed for unknown reasons.
Cross, a resident of Bakersfield, was killed in the accident.
The man was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
