Bicyclist Burke Madden Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Whitelock Parkway near Bruceville Road in Elk Grove
Elk Grove, California (October 22, 2020) – The Elk Grove bicyclist who was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday afternoon, in Elk Grove, has been identified as 14-year-old Burke Madden, according to a report by the Elk Grove Police Department.
The deadly bicycle collision took place at about 3:19 p.m., October 17, on Whitelock Parkway, east of Bruceville Road.
The accident involved a bicycle operated by Madden in the crosswalk and a vehicle of unspecified make and built. Madden’s bicycle was reportedly sheared by the car for undetermined reasons.

Meanwhile, the operator of the involved automobile remained at the scene and cooperated with law.
Sadly, Madden died at the hospital while undergoing treatment.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected factors in the accident. An investigation into the crash is underway.
