1 Seriously Injured in Bakersfield Crash at River Boulevard and Bernard Street

Bakersfield, California (October 21, 2020) – A person was seriously injured early Tuesday morning in an alleged DUI crash in Bakersfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major-injury collision happened at around 2:18 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, at the intersection of River Boulevard and Bernard Street.
The CHP said two vehicles collided at the Bakersfield intersection for an unknown reason.
One Seriously Injured in Bakersfield Car Crash
First responders arrived at the scene and found one person suffering from major injuries. The patient was then taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities determined that one of the drivers involved was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the accident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
