1 Killed in Orinda Car Crash on San Pablo Dam Road near Bear Creek Road
Orinda, California (October 19, 2020) – At least one person was killed in a car accident in Orinda, Contra Costa, early Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened on San Pablo Dam Road near Bear Creek Road at about 12:25 a.m.
The authorities said a vehicle was traveling on the roadway when it went down an embankment for unknown reasons and caught fire.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
