Bicyclist Hospitalized after Pacific Beach Crash at Ingraham Street and Reed Avenue

Pacific Beach, California (October 18, 2020) – A 49-year-old male bicyclist was seriously hurt in a collision with a motorcycle Saturday afternoon in Pacific Beach.
On October 17, at approximately 3:14 p.m., the San Diego Police Department received a crash report involving a motorcycle and a bicyclist at Ingraham Street and Reed Avenue.
The accident involved a bicyclist, travelling east on Reed Avenue, and a 2017 Harley Davidson Sportster operated by a 23-year-old man southbound on Ingraham Street.
The initial report indicated that the cyclist was struck while entering the Pacific Beach intersection in the afternoon hours.

The bicyclist survived with a broken left femur and broken ribs following the mishap. The patient was rushed to an area hospital for further medication.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to determine the cause of the accident.
