Oakland, California (October 18, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle collision that left at least one party injured in Oakland on Saturday afternoon.
The accident was reported at about 12:27 p.m. on Interstate 580 Freeway near West Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The authorities who responded to the incident found a gray SUV and a gray sedan at the scene of the accident.
The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established. One car reportedly overturned onto its side after the collision.
As per the CHP report, at least one person was hurt in the accident and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
