Colton, California (October 17, 2020) – The San Bernardino County coroner’s office has identified the driver who died in a traffic accident involving three vehicles early Tuesday morning in Colton as Boy Anthony Prado, 25, of San Bernardino.

The deadly three-car crash happened at about 1:52 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, on Interstate 215 Freeway near the intersection of Interstate 10 Freeway.

Authorities said Prado was driving a 2013 gray Nissan Altima northbound on 215 Freeway when he crashed into the rear of a 2016 white Freightliner Cascadia driven by a 38-year-old Hemet man.

The Nissan became disabled after the collision, blocking the no. 2 lane.

A short time later, a 2007 black GMC Yukon driven by a 38-year-old Riverside man crashed into the disabled vehicle.

Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 215 in Colton

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Prado dead at the scene at about 2:10 a.m.
