Jairo Ramirez Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 15 in Yermo
Jairo Ramirez ID’d as Passenger Killed in Yermo Crash on Interstate 15 near Harvard Road
Yermo, California (October 17, 2020) – The passenger who was killed Friday night following a single-vehicle collision on an interstate in Yermo has been identified as Jairo Ramirez, 14, of Las Vegas, Nevada.
The deadly crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at around 8:18 p.m. Friday, October 16, on Interstate 15, just north of Harvard Road.
According to the CHP, a vehicle crashed on Interstate 15 for unknown reasons. Ramirez, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was ejected as a result of the crash.
Ramirez was declared deceased at the scene at about 9:21 p.m.
No other injuries were immediately reported.
The crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
