Fresno Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident at First Street and Ashlan Avenue Left One Victim Dead
Fresno, California (October 17, 2020) – A male party was struck and killed by an alleged hit-and-run motorist, about a mile south of Fashion Fair Mall, in Fresno Friday night.
The deadly pedestrian crash happened just before 8:00 p.m. near the intersection of First Street and Ashlan Avenue.
The man was possibly hit by a northbound older red-colored truck while crossing the Fresno intersection in unclear circumstances.
Meanwhile, the involved driver left the pedestrian laying on the highway and fled the scene.

Sadly, the unidentified male party died in the crash.
The accident resulted in the closure of northbound First Street near Ashlan Avenue for an unknown time.
Officials are gathering more evidence to locate the suspect.
