Cerritos 2-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 605 Freeway at Del Amo Boulevard Results in Possible Injuries
Cerritos, California (October 17, 2020) – Possible injuries were reported Thursday afternoon following a traffic collision in Cerritos, the California Highway Patrol said.
At about 12:15 p.m., on October 15, authorities received a call of a crash involving several vehicles on the southbound I-605 Freeway near the Del Amo Boulevard exit.
A small red Chevrolet slammed into the rear of a gray Kia Telluride operated by a female party for unknown reasons.
Due to the impact, the Chevy acquired major front-end damage and blocked traffic lanes.
The Kia had four children at the time of the collision.
Cerritos Car Accident on Interstate 605 Freeway
Medical personnel responded to the scene shortly after the mishap and attended all involved parties who had suffered minor injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
