Davis Bicycle Accident at 3rd Street and D Street Send 1 to Hospital
Davis, California (October 15, 2020) – The Davis Police Department is investigating the cause of an alleged hit-and-run crash that occurred Tuesday morning at an intersection in Davis.
The bicycle accident was reported on October 13 in the area of 3rd Street and D Street shortly before noon.
An individual riding a bicycle was struck by a lime-green Volkswagen Beetle written “Cal Motors” in the morning hours.
The involved driver, a Hispanic man, aged between 20 and 30, did not stop to render aid and escaped the crash site.
Bicyclist Injured in Davis Crash
Officials said the motorcyclist sustained unspecified injuries following the wreck. The patient was then taken to the hospital for further medication.
Police are still investigating to locate the suspect.
