Child Injured in San Francisco Car Crash on Highway 101 near Cesar Chavez Street

San Francisco, California (October 15, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-car accident that left at least one juvenile injured in San Francisco on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened at about 3:41 p.m. October 14, on Highway 101 near Cesar Chavez Street.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident. However, the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established.
A 5-year-old child inside one of the cars was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The authorities said the child was wearing a seatbelt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
