Man Killed in Santa Barbara Pedestrian Crash at Montecito Street

Santa Barbara, California (October 14, 2020) – According to the Santa Barbara Police Department, a male pedestrian was hit and killed by a train on Wednesday night in Santa Barbara.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at about 7:00 p.m. at the railroad crossing at Montecito Street.
As per the police report, the pedestrian was walking southbound on the tracks when an Amtrak train, also traveling southbound approaching the Amtrak station, struck him.

Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
