1 Person Killed in El Cajon Pedestrian Accident on Alpine Boulevard near Tavern Road
El Cajon, California (October 10, 2020) – One person was struck and killed by a vehicle on Friday evening in the unincorporated Alpine area, east of El Cajon, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at about 10:55 p.m., on October 9, in the area of 1155 Alpine Boulevard near Tavern Road and the Casino Inn Bar and Grill.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the roadway.
The officials said it was not clear if the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk when the accident happened.

Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the collision were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
