1 Killed in South Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident on Union Avenue
Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Car on Union Avenue near Rexland Drive in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (October 9, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in Bakersfield on Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the 2700 block of Union Avenue near Rexland Drive.
At about 10 a.m., the authorities received reports of a pedestrian who had been struck by a car.
The pedestrian was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital where they later died.
Information about the motorist was not immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
