1 Hospitalized after Ramona Truck Accident on Salmon Road

Ramona, California (October 7, 2020) – One person was injured in a truck accident on Monday morning in Ramona, authorities said.
At about 10:35 a.m., on October 5, the California Highway Patrol responded to the single-vehicle accident on Salmon Road.
According to the CHP, a tow truck hauling a Cal Fire water tender lost control, and both the truck and the water tender flipped onto their sides. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.

The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries and was transported to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido for treatment.
Traffic on Highway 78 on the east end of Ramona was closed for an unknown period due to the accident.
