San Bernardino, California (October 2, 2020) – A driver was injured in a car accident in San Bernardino on Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 6:34 a.m. on Interstate 215 Freeway near University Parkway.
A silver sedan was traveling on the roadway when it crashed into construction equipment. The impact of the collision sent the vehicle down an embankment where it overturned onto its side.
The authorities said the driver was injured in the accident. The extent of the injuries sustained by the victim was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
