Jacob Iskander ID’d as 1 of 2 Killed in Westlake Village Pedestrian Crash at Triunfo Canyon Road and Saddle Mountain Drive
Westlake Village, California (October 1, 2020) – Jacob Iskander, 9, has been identified as one of the two boys who were hit and killed by a vehicle on Tuesday night in Westlake Village, authorities said.
The crash happened at about 7:10 p.m., on September 29, at the intersection of Triunfo Canyon Road and Saddle Mountain Drive.
According to the police, Jacob and his brother, Mark Iskander, 11, were walking in a marked crosswalk with their family when a vehicle struck them.
Fortunately, their mother was able to rescue their sibling on a Razor scooter and another in a stroller.

Mark succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Jacob was taken to Los Robles Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
The involved driver, Rebecca Grossman, 57, of Hidden Hills, who was determined to have been intoxicated, fled the scene, the officials said.
Grossman was later arrested on two counts of vehicular manslaughter. She was being held on a $2 million bail.
The crash remains under investigation.
