1 Hospitalized After Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash at Niles Street and West Drive
Bakersfield, California (September 29, 2020) – According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, a Saturday night pedestrian accident that occurred in Bakersfield sent one person to the hospital.
The 8:30 p.m. pedestrian collision occurred at the intersection of Niles Street and West Drive on September 26.
An individual was hit by unspecified vehicle at the intersection, near Mt. Vernon Avenue, for unknown reasons.
Medical personnel arrived at the scene and rushed the unidentified pedestrian to an area hospital for further aid.
Details regarding the involved driver were not immediately established at the time of the report.
The accident remains under an active investigation by the CHP.
