1 Killed, 2 Injured in Grass Valley Car Accident on Highway 20 near East Main Street
Grass Valley, California (September 27, 2020) – One person was killed and two others injured in a wrong-way crash on Saturday night in Grass Valley, police said.
The deadly accident transpired at about 11:20 p.m., on September 26, on Highway 20 near East Main Street.
According to the CHP, a car was driving eastbound on the westbound lane of the highway when it collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.

The wrong-way driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other car victims sustained moderate to major injuries and were taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment.
Drugs or alcohol were suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
