2 Hospitalized after Summerland Car Crash on Highway 101 near Padaro Lane
Summerland, California (September 26, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday morning traffic accident that left two people injured in Summerland.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 8:00 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Highway 101 near Padaro Lane.
The CHP said a Nissan sedan, with four people on board, rolled down an embankment and came to a rest on its roof near the adjacent railroad tracks.

Two parties were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with moderate injuries.
Railroad traffic was halted for a short period due to the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
