San Diego, CA: Fatal Bicycle Crash on Carmel Valley Road

San Diego, California (September 25, 2020) – A 42-year-old man was killed in a bicycle accident on Friday morning in San Diego, authorities said.

The deadly accident transpired shortly before 10:00 a.m. in the 14500 block of Carmel Valley Road east of Black Mountain Road.

According to the police, the male cyclist was riding westbound on the roadway when, for unknown reasons, he crashed into a city stormwater vehicle that was parked on the north curb line

The man sustained major head trauma. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
