18-Year-Old Girl Killed in Paradise Hills Crash at Munda Road and Paradise Valley Road
Paradise Hills, California (September 24, 2020) – Eduardo Douglas Jones, 18, was arrested after a traffic accident that killed an 18-year-old female passenger early Wednesday morning in Paradise Hills, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened at about 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, at the intersection of Munda Road and Paradise Valley Road.
Authorities said Jones was driving a 1992 Mercedes sedan westbound on Paradise Valley Road and was attempting to make an unsafe turn onto the southbound lanes of Munda Road when he lost control of the vehicle and veered off the roadway.
The vehicle then went down an embankment.

Jones and his four passengers were able to climb up the roadway.
An 18-year-old female passenger was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her name was withheld pending notification of family.
Jones fled the scene and was later found hiding in the nearby bushes. He was eventually arrested and booked into jail on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter, felony hit-and-run and DUI.
