Fresno, CA: Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Vehicle on Highway 99
1 Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99 near Avenue 96
Fresno, California (September 24, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Thursday morning in Pixley, Fresno, authorities said.
At about 4:50 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly pedestrian accident on Highway 99, just south of Avenue 96.
According to the CHP, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, the pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Northbound lanes of Highway 99 near Avenue 96 were closed for an unknown period due to the accident.
Further details regarding the collision were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
