Juvenile, Adult Hospitalized after Sacramento Hit-and-Run Accident at Rio Linda Boulevard and Eleanor Avenue

Sacramento, California (September 23, 2020) – Two pedestrians were hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in North Sacramento Wednesday night, according to a local news source.
The pedestrian accident was reported at about 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Rio Linda Boulevard and Eleanor Avenue.
Police said the two pedestrians, a juvenile and an adult, were hit by a vehicle at the North Sacramento intersection for unknown reasons.

The two victims sustained non life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital. Their names and current conditions were not disclosed.
The driver involved did not stop to render aid to the victims and fled the scene. There was no description of the suspect’s vehicle or the driver.
Police are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
The accident remains under investigation.
