San Jose, California (September 23, 2020) – Two people, including a San Jose police officer, were injured following an alleged DUI traffic collision that happened early Monday morning in San Jose, a local news source reported.

The two-vehicle crash took place at North 3rd and East Taylor streets just before 1:00 a.m.

Police Said a driver ran a stop sign and crashed with a patrol car at the San Jose intersection in the morning hours.

Meanwhile, the officer sustained injuries while the unidentified driver was hospitalized with non-life life-threatening injuries.

Officials believed the involved motorist was intoxicated at the time of the mishap.
