At Least 1 Hospitalized After Linden Truck Accident on Highway 26 near Shelly Road

Linden, California (September 16, 2020) – At least one person was hospitalized with major injuries after being involved in a traffic collision in Linden Tuesday morning, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury crash was reported at around 7:15 a.m. on Highway 26 near North Shelly Road.
The accident involved a 20-foot yellow box truck and a red sedan that crashed head-on along the highway in unclear circumstances.
Due to the impact, the sedan swerved off the highway and wound up in a ditch.

At least one unidentified person was rushed to an area hospital for treatment of major injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
