2 Hospitalized after Bakersfield Motorcycle Crash at Gosford Road and South Laurel Glen Boulevard

Bakersfield, California (September 13, 2020) – Two people were injured in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident on Saturday night in Bakersfield, authorities said.
The crash happened at about 10:30 p.m., on September 12, at the intersection of Gosford Road and South Laurel Glen Boulevard.
According to the police, a motorcycle collided with a vehicle at the intersection in unclear circumstances.

The male motorcyclist was transported to a hospital where he was listed in critical condition, while his passenger sustained moderate injuries.
The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police.
A passenger in the involved vehicle who fled the scene on foot was later arrested.
Intoxication was suspected of having played a role in the mishap.
