Novato Truck Collision on 101 Freeway near Alameda Del Prado Results in Moderate Injuries
Novato, California (September 9, 2020) – At least one person sustained moderate injuries following a two-vehicle collision in the area of Novato Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The traffic collision involving a semi-tractor trailer occurred at about 10:55 a.m. in the southbound US 101 Freeway at the Alameda Del Prado on-ramp
As per the report, a tan Toyota Camry collided with the semi-truck in the No. 1 lane of the highway for unknown reasons.
Due to the impact, the Camry slammed into the center divider and rolled over. At least one person was reportedly trapped inside the wreckage.

The unidentified victim was extricated and rushed to an area hospital by paramedics for treatment of moderate injuries.
Officials requested a tow truck to remove the Toyota Camry away from the crash site.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
