1 Killed in Taft Car Accident at Ceder and Harrington Streets
Taft, California (September 8, 2020) – One person was killed Monday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident at an intersection in Taft, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash occurred at about 3:47 p.m. Monday, September 7, at the intersection of Ceder and Harrington streets.
As per the CHP report, a grey Nissan veered off the roadway and slammed into a street sign. It then crashed into a building.
Deadly Single-Vehicle Crash in Taft
At least one person died in the crash. The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of family.
The crash remains under investigation.
