1 Injured in Coalinga Truck Accident on Highway 33 near California Avenue
Coalinga, California (September 6, 2020) – Injuries were reported after two semi-trucks collided head-on in Coalinga on Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 33 near California Avenue at about 10:47 a.m. September 5.
Two semi-trucks are reported to have collided head-on for unknown reasons. The impact of the collision caused one of the trucks to overturn, blocking the southbound lanes.
A driver was trapped inside a semi-truck and had to be extricated by firefighters who responded to the incident.
The authorities said at least one person was injured in the accident.
