1 Injured in Merced Car Accident at Plainsburg Road and State Route 140
Merced, California (September 3, 2020) – At least one person was hospitalized after being injured in a collision in Merced on Wednesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the area of Plainsburg Road and State Route 140 at about 6:50 p.m. September 2.
The authorities who responded to the incident found a red sedan at the scene of the accident. The vehicle had crashed into a light pole. It is unknown if other vehicles were involved in the collision.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Medical Center for treatment.
No additional information about the collision was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
