Robert Boykin and Ronda Boykin ID’d as Victims Injured in Turlock Car Accident at Crows Landing Road and Linwood Avenue
Turlock, California (August 30, 2020) – The two people who were injured Saturday morning in a traffic accident that also killed another person in Turlock have been identified as Robert Paul Boykin, 53, of Gilroy and Ronda Boykin, 51.
The fatal crash happened at about 10:54 a.m. Saturday, August 29, at the intersection of Crows Landing Road and Linwood Avenue.
Authorities said a 37-year-old Turlock man was driving a maroon 2006 Toyota Tacoma westbound on Linwood Avenue at approximately 45-50 miles per hour when he failed to stop a stop sign and collided with a blue 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Robert, who was heading northbound on Crows Landing Road.
As a result of the collision, both vehicles spun out of control.

The Turlock man, whose name was withheld pending notification of next of kin, was declared dead at the scene. Robert and his passenger, Ronda, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
All parties were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the crash. An investigation into the accident is underway.
