1 Injured in Laguna Beach Motorcycle Accident at Solana Way and South Coast Highway
Laguna Beach, California (August 25, 2020) – A motorcyclist was injured in a collision that occurred in Laguna Beach on Monday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Solana Way and South Coast Highway at about 4:58 p.m.
A motorcycle is reported to have crashed into a vehicle in the area in unclear circumstances.
The rider was ejected from his seat and was thrown across three lanes of traffic.
The collision pushed into the Casa Laguna Hotel where it crashed into a pillar.
The motorcyclist was injured in the accident and was flown to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo in critical condition.
The driver and a passenger in the vehicle were unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
