Newhall, California (August 22, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a suspected hit-and-run driver Friday evening in Newhall, a local news source reported.
The pedestrian accident happened in a parking lot along the 24500 block of Lyons Avenue, near the 5 Freeway, just after 6:30 p.m.
Officials said an individual was struck by a dark-coloured truck on the avenue, near the cross of Avenida Dorena, for undetermined reasons.
Meanwhile, the involved motorist escaped the scene after the mishap.
