Man Injured in Long Beach Pedestrian Accident at PCH and Orange Avenue
Long Beach, California (August 18, 2020) – A man was injured after being struck by a vehicle at a bus stop in Long Beach on Sunday night.
The pedestrian accident happened at Pacific Coast Highway and Orange Avenue at about 11:45 p.m. August 16.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a man was sitting on a bench at the bus stop when a vehicle ran a red light and struck the bench.
The man sustained minor injuries to his upper body.
The authorities said the female driver of the car and two men abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.
The abandoned vehicle was impounded.
