Long Beach, CA: Fatal Traffic Collision on 710 Freeway
1 Killed in Long Beach Car Accident on 710 Freeway near 405 Freeway
Long Beach, California (August 13, 2020) – One person was killed in a traffic accident on Thursday morning in Long Beach, authorities said.
The deadly crash transpired at about 3:45 a.m. on the southbound Long Beach (710) Freeway, just south of the San Diego (405) Freeway.
According to the CHP, the manner and factors contributing to the accident were not immediately available.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the accident, traffic on the southbound lanes of the Long Beach Freeway, south of the San Diego Freeway, and the southbound San Diego Freeway transition to the southbound Long Beach Freeway was stopped for an unknown period.

The crash remains under investigation.
