Possible Injuries Sustained in Emeryville Truck Accident on Interstate 80 Freeway near State Route 13
Emeryville, California (August 11, 2020) – Possible injuries were reported following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Emeryville, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The traffic collision involving a large white delivery truck took place about noon along the Interstate 80 Freeway just west of Ashby Avenue.
A silver sports car faced the wrong way after it crashed with the delivery truck on the highway for unknown reasons.
Due to the impact, the sports car acquired major damages and blocked the fast lane.
All involved parties were attended to by medical personnel who responded at the scene shortly after the mishap.
Meanwhile, officials requested a tow truck to remove the car away from the crash site.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
