Four Hospitalized after South Pasadena Car Accident on State Route 110
South Pasadena, California (August 10, 2020) – Four people were hospitalized Sunday night in a traffic accident involving two vehicles on a freeway in South Pasadena, according to authorities.
At around 10:06 p.m. Sunday, August 9, the California Highway Patrol officers received a report about the crash on State Route 110.
According to the CHP, a sedan collided with another vehicle on State Route 110 for unknown reasons. The impact sent the sedan over an embankment and struck a tree.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated a total of people who were trapped in the car.
All patients were then taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital, two with critical injuries. Their names and conditions were not immediately disclosed.
A SigAlert was issued at around 10:28 p.m., blocking all northbound lanes. Motorists were being diverted at Fair Oaks Avenue.
As of 12:31 a.m., the lanes were reopened.
The accident remains under investigation.
