23-Year-Old Man Dies in Salinas Motorcycle Accident at Williams and Bardin Roads

Salinas, California (August 1, 2020) – A motorcyclist was killed Thursday night in a traffic accident at an intersection in Salinas, according to authorities.
The deadly collision was reported at about 7:52 p.m. Thursday, July 30, at the intersection of Williams and Bardin roads.
Authorities said a 23-year-old man was riding his motorcycle when, for unknown reasons, he collided with a 2001 Toyota pickup truck at the intersection.
Fatal Motorcycle Accident at Williams and Bardin Roads in Salinas
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was taken to Natividad Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the Toyota, a Salinas man, remained at the scene and was cooperative, police said.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident. The intersection was closed for hours as authorities investigated the accident.
