1 Killed in Green Meadows Pedestrian Accident on South Central Avenue, near 90th Street
Green Meadows, California (August 1, 2020) – One person was hit and killed by a car on Saturday morning in Green Meadows, Los Angeles, police said.
The deadly auto-pedestrian accident happened at about 12:30 a.m. in the 8900 block of South Central Avenue near 90th Street.
The authorities said a pedestrian was struck by a car in unclear circumstances.
First responders arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian down in northbound lanes, and the involved vehicle stopped nearby.

Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver remained at the crash site and cooperated with the officials.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
